Beginner training plan
Your first lessonThe first 10-20 mins i’ll normally put her through a few drills that hit on the basics of each skill. I won’t ‘instruct’ a ton through those drills because I want to see how she naturally performs and how her brain interprets what i’m saying to her. This allows me to see what she knows/doesn’t know and areas of improvements. Following the short evaluation we can progress into targeting an area of improvement.
Lesson 2-3Lesson 2-3 will be heavily focused on instruction. This means I will be talking and teaching a lot so the lesson may seem “slower”. At this stage we are focusing more on cognitive understanding rather than her taking a bunch of reps. I LOVE to use video footage of her and other successful players as a way to help my client SEE what it is i’m wanting her to do.
