Beginner training plan
Your first lessonOur first lesson is an evaluation session to see where the player is at technically and then I give some ideas and tips on what to work on between lessons.
Lesson 11+We will continue to hone the 7-8 skills moves a player has become used to and learn how to use them at game speed and consistently improve 1 on 1 attacking and defending principles.
Lesson 4-10As we progress through our spiral lesson plans, we review the previous weeks ball mastery and add in field awareness and positioning in games.
Lesson 2-3We will work on ball mastery and off the ball movements
Youth players
Working with kidsI use games to start to teach fundamental skills and movements. I will ask the children what they like, ie dinosaurs, cars, planes, animals or movie characters and explain concepts using those interests
Working with teenagersWe focus on stamina and executing moves efficiently when getting tired late in games.
