Beginner training plan
Your first lesson1. Get to Know the Player: Be friendly, ask about their goals, and make them comfortable. 2. See What They Can Do: Check their throwing, catching, hitting, and fielding skills. 3. Teach the Basics: Explain and show the right way to throw, catch, hit, and field. 4. Be Positive: Give lots of encouragement and focus on getting better. 5. Set Goals: Plan what to work on in future lessons. 6. Give Homework: Tell them what to practice before the next lesson.
Lesson 11+From the 11th softball lesson onward, expect to focus on advanced strategies, specialized skills, and competitive gameplay. You'll likely work on advanced techniques, refine position-specific skills, and engage in more intense scrimmages and game simulations.
Lesson 4-10Between the 4th and 10th softball lessons, expect to refine your skills, build consistency, and deepen your understanding of the game.
