I’m Alex Sapalicio, with over 20 years of golf experience and more than a decade of coaching under my belt. I hold the course record of 57 at my home course, Alhambra Golf Course, and have competed in multiple PGA pre-qualifying events. had such a great golf lesson with alex today. he explained everything in a way i could actually understand — no overcomplicated golf talk, just clear and simple. he watched me swing and made small tweaks one by one so i didn’t get too in my head before each shot. it was super helpful. he’s my third coach and by far the best. even after one lesson i can already tell my swing got better and what he taught actually stuck with me.

Beginner training plan
Your first lessonI teach the very basics of the golf swing so you can under how the golf swing works and what’s comfortable for you.
Lesson 2-3Having a better understanding of how and why the miss happens when they mishit shots
What you need to bringWhichever golf equipment you have will be sufficient. I do recommend a golf glove so we can get a good grip on the club, comfortable shoes(does not have to be golf shoes) something with a harder toe just for the finish.
What I can bringIf chipping/putting is what you’d like to work on I have a tube of golf balls so you can get a better feel of the short game around the green with decent semi playable golf balls. I have alignment sticks as well.
