Bio: My name is Vince. I am the youth development tennis instructor for the City of Denver. I am also a private tennis coach in the Denver area, play very little bc I tore ligaments in my ankle. I am pretty chill and non-stressful with a lot of incredible results to show for being laidback. I was a Top 25 junior in Southern California, Doubles #1 junior in SoCal, and currently 2025 USTA Denver Division 4.0/4.5 Singles Flex League Champion (my ankle can handle once a week matches). People I work with have also won 4.0 and 4.5 USTA and UTR tournaments, as well as USTA Open level in doubles. I am a proponent of Robert Lansdorp's methodology since he is the one who trained my brain on how to play. I believe in making sure the student knows EVERYTHING about the mechanics of their body -- I play every style so I know pretty much all technique including one-handed backhand. I am known for having one of the most aesthetic one-handers in Denver. We will work on basic strokes, simple ideas, footwork, match play, point construction, mentality/mental game, and drills. The most important part is "drills" -- you can always get better and know everything, but keeping yourself at peak or getting ready for tournaments requires drills and getting your body into a state of performance. I teach little kids to adults. I can be as kind and gentle, or as rigorous and difficult as you like.
