Most recently I became the League Director for The Junior Tour powered by Under Armour. This is a sanctioned league nationwide for children ages 6-18.

Bio: I’ve been golfing for over 30 years and as I grew older I’ve learned to maximize what I have. I’m 5’6” and though I consider myself an athlete, I do believe a good swing can be achieved by good fundamentals and what I call positioning. By ingraining certain aspects of a swing, we can continue to improve by doing. I’m just a low-handicap golfer who want to teach average golfers good fundamentals as a takeaway, so you can start to improve on your own. I’m not a teaching professional, but I was a design instructor at an art school for over 17 years, I hope I can make improving your golf game fun.

On top of being a life long golfer, my degree is in Biomedical Engineering so I have a deep sense of physics, anatomy, biomechanics & material science. During my undergrad, I played D-1 water polo and club soccer. Eventually, I shifted to CrossFit where I achieved the top 33% in the world my first time competing in the 2016 Open. From there, I found boxing as an outlet from the biotech startup world and was on track to compete at USA Master's level before COVID/SIP hit. Since I have started coaching, I've worked one season with Stratford Charter School as an assistant coach, gained a Confidence Coach certification as well as an esoteric Gene Keys Guide authorization. So my golf life started on the course they retired on up past Sacramento after he was a surgeon/GP in Los Gatos and a member of La Rinc. It was there I learned to swing free using his old persimmons. When I grew into my body as a teenager, I casually wacked it around NorCal hunting those big birds. It wasn't until I was working that I started playing weekly. My self-taught low round is 76 with 23 putts. Luckily, I also have 2 Hole-in-ones (Ko Olina #12*, TPC Stonebrae #13). My GHIN was down to a (10), but being a single parent with 2 young daughters has interrupted that at the moment. *Rental clubs 😎

Bio: I am a single-digit handicap golfer who has been playing seriously through high school. I believe the physical side of golf only goes so far, and the real improvement comes from the mental game. Half the battle is hitting the shots, while the other half is knowing which shot to hit. I can help players improve with driving, irons, and wedges, and I have been trained by PGA championship winners as well as multiple D1 coaches. I am excited to help others improve and have a great time on the course. *I use a GC3 for more advanced data, but won’t bring it on the first lesson, and will use it only once I’m comfortable it will be a tool, and not a detriment to your game :) *Lesson fee covers lesson; balls/course fees paid by student onsite.

Bio: Hi, I’m Nicole Yang, and I’ve been passionate about golf for over 10 years. My journey took me from picking up the game as a beginner to competing as an NCAA athlete, where I gained not only technical skills but also a deep understanding of the mental side of the sport. Now, I’m excited to share what I’ve learned with others who are ready to start their own golf journey. My coaching focuses on building strong fundamentals, developing confidence, and making the game enjoyable from the very beginning. Whether you’ve never picked up a club before or you’re just looking for guidance on your swing and mindset, I’m here to help. Golf can be intimidating at first, but it doesn’t have to be! I’d love to help you get started.

Bio: Michael grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and started playing golf from a young age. He went to university in Georgia and after a decent college career turned pro and played the mini tours in Florida, then the Australian tour and South African Sunshine tour. After a couple of years as a playing professional, he went through the PGA training in the UK and became a teaching pro at Blackmoor GC in Southern England. Michael then took a job with well renown European Tour teacher, Jamie Gough at this golf school in Cape Town. Michael worked there for 3 years before moving to Europe and spending 8 years teaching in Germany and Switzerland before moving to America. Michael also spent time caddying/managing on the European Tour in the 2005, he has done 3 TPI classes through the Titleist Performance Institute as well as many other classes, courses to grow his knowledge. Michael enjoys teaching players of all skill levels from beginners to tour players. Michael still plays a lot of golf and you can find him tinkering with his swing or playing a variety of courses in his free time. He also loves to cook and explore the beauty of Northern California.

Bio: Thirty years as a player with multiple tournament wins on US West coast amateur events. I've played and practiced with professional players. Active tournament player monthly. Former club champion and multiple NCGA winners in 2021. Won NCGA event at Lake Merced, 2017 Troon Challenge, and 4-time qualifier of CourseCo annual event since 2013. Retired Navy and Cal grad.
